CBCN’s Newest Digital Magazine: Complementary Therapies

CBCN produces curated magazines that focus on topics that are relevant to the breast cancer community. These magazines provide patients with an easy-to-access method of getting information on various breast-cancer-related topics. The articles featured in our magazine are pulled from Our Voices blog and are created so that breast cancer patients can access certain themes/topics in one place.

On August 10th, we will be launching our latest themed magazine on “Complementary Therapies”. Most medical cancer treatments come with a range of side effects and symptoms. These can range from fatigue and insomnia to anxiety and depression. Complementary therapies are done alongside your medical treatment to help you cope with these symptoms and side effects. Additionally, they can help individuals with cancer feel better and improve their quality of life.

If you choose to use any of the therapies introduced in our magazine, it is important to speak to your medical team to let them know that you are considering complementary therapies. They can provide you with additional support and let you know how some of these therapies may interact with your medical treatment.

From tai chi to art therapy to meditation, our Complementary Therapies magazine will help you through your cancer treatments.
