The Voice of People With Breast Cancer

ACTION

Become a Supporter

Volunteer

Our patient volunteers are an integral part of CBCN and have all been impacted by breast cancer in one way or another. Our patient volunteers use their experience to help support others, guide educational initiatives and inform the work that we do. We believe in meaningful engagement with our patient volunteers and are pleased to offer the following opportunities all year long:

Share Your Story:

As the voice of breast cancer patients and survivors, CBCN aims to connect people and let others affected by breast cancer know that they’re not alone. You have the ability to help others by sharing your experience. Whether you’re a patient, survivor, someone living with metastatic breast cancer, a caregiver, family member or friend, your story can help others know that they’re not alone. Your experience can help someone who is going through a similar experience. Learn more about sharing your story.

Join a Project Advisory Board:

CBCN undertakes a variety of projects to help provide the information and education that patients and their families need after a breast cancer diagnosis. The patient and family voice are at the core of these initiatives and we are always looking for patients and families who are willing to sit on project advisory boards to help develop and inform our work. Contact us to learn more about the boards that are currently open to join.

Join our Board of Directors:

All of CBCN’s directors have personally experienced a breast cancer diagnosis; patients and survivors are truly what drives our organization and sets priorities for the work that we do. CBCN has an open call for board members on an annual basis. If you’re interested in being notified the next time the application process is open, send us an email with your name and contact information.
