Faire d’une crise une occasion de développement

Il n’y a pas de moment idéal pour apprendre qu’on a le cancer. Quand j’ai appris la nouvelle, ma famille et moi étions sur le point de partir en vacances en Australie. Cela faisait quelques mois que j’avais commencé à me remettre en forme et je me sentais tellement bien que je n’arrivais pas à croire que quelque chose n’allait pas. Et pourtant... J’avais un cancer du sein de stade II qui affectait deux ganglions lymphatiques. Il faudrait donc peut-être annuler nos vacances pour que je puisse me faire opérer.
